This Beige colored madhubani mataka silk saree has Madhubani art on Mataka silk. Madhubani art began in Mithila, a place in Bihar. The saree is hand painted with fingers, twigs, brushes, nib pens and matchsticks. There are various patterns which depicts the various styles and aspects of nature. The border and pallu contains many motifs derived from nature such as flowers, animals, birds and other geometric patterns.
