Handwoven primarily by the women of Padmanabhapur village in Odisha’s Ganjam district, the Pitala saree is a testament to their skill, resilience and artistic heritage. These Odia-Telugu speaking weavers work on traditional pit looms, taking nearly 7 to 10 days to complete a single saree. The distinctive ikat borders and pallu are inspired by the renowned weaving traditions of Nuapatna, seamlessly integrated into the Pitala weave to create a beautiful blend of regional craftsmanship.

SPECIAL WASHING AND MAINTAINANCE INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAREE:-

• Dry cleaning is suggested for first wash
• Handwash in suggested cold water
• Line dry or dip dry in shade
• Do not squeeze or wring
• Store in clean and dry place away from excessive light and moisture
• Dry under the shade
